• 2+ years of injection molding experience focused on mold changes, processing, and technical modifications is preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
• Must have Impeccable attendance.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring tools (tape measurer, sockets, heat guns, sharpeners, etc.)
• Knowledge of mold changing equipment. (forklift, impact wrench, etc.) or have a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility to learn, and to accept new challenges.
• Regularly required to balance, stand, and walk.
Core Duties & Daily Responsibilities:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
• Coordinate (with Molding Manager) mold change schedules based on production/inventory needs.
• Ability to analyze safety, quality, and productivity issues and take corrective action.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of spare machinery parts.
• Learn set ups of various injection molding machinery, as well as the functionality of the accompanying robot.
• Keep records of mold/machinery.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance scheduling for equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
• Ability to muti-task while dealing with multiple, competing priorities.
